This week, Ms. Kree’s 4th Graders put their storytelling skills to use by illustrating and finalizing their first classroom book. “The Spooktacular Adventures of the Kindness Crew,” is a collection of short Halloween social emotional learning stories that inspire students to explore kindness, sharing, gratitude and more through life lessons.

🎨✨ Art Beyond the Classroom!

Our 9th–12th grade art students took a field trip to Grand Rapids to experience ArtPrize, an annual citywide celebration of creativity! 🖼️

Students explored artwork displayed throughout museums, businesses, restaurants, and other spaces across the city. One of the best parts of the experience was getting the opportunity to meet artists right alongside their work, ask questions, and learn more about their inspiration, techniques, and creative process. 🎨💭

What an amazing opportunity for our students to see art come to life, connect with working artists, and find inspiration beyond the classroom! ✨
