Fiedler Elementary

Mr. Portillo’s 4th grade class and Mrs. Gonzalez-Wood’s 5th grade class earned a kick ball game this morning for having the highest percentage of attendance 4th marking period!! 🥇 And… some staff jumped in to play, too! ⭐️

4th grade PBiS Yard Games is always a hit! This year it included 2 bounce houses and a For-Mar station!

Mrs. Puffer, our Reading Intervention Teacher is retiring! Wish her well!

Today we continue honoring our 25-26 district retirees who have dedicated years of service to Kearsley kids! 💙💛

Mrs. Rae Puffer began her Kearsley career in 1997, first working in The Pumpkin Patch “Get Ready, Get Set” program before beginning her teaching career at Dowdall Elementary School, where she taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. In 2011, Rae began her journey at Fiedler Elementary, teaching 4th grade for many years before transitioning to an interventionist role in 2021, where she positively impacted students across the entire building.

Beyond the classroom, Rae supported students and staff through the contract negotiation team, crisis response team, Young Authors, NCA accreditation team, yearbook, CRIM walking club, and currently as co-sponsor of Fiedler Student Council.

Thank you, Rae, for a career dedicated to advocating for, challenging and growing Kearsley kids! Your impact and legacy will continue to be felt for years to come. 🐝🐝🐝
