We've become aware that E-Campus is telling students to pick-up their textbooks at the library. We apologize, but this is incorrect. If you had your books sent to campus, go to Bear Necessities in CM1124. However, we do hope you'll visit the library soon! We'd love to see you.

Our Friends of the Mott Library group exists to make our community college library a place where every student can learn, create, and thrive. We help fund the resources that students rely on every single day - equipment for learning, updated book collections, study supplies, technology upgrades, and initiatives that support student achievement.

Right now, we're asking for your support, and we've reduced our patron member fee. A $25 donation is an investment in students who are working hard to build their futures.

We've seen participation drop, and your support matters now more than ever!

ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF GENTLY USED BOOKS AND OTHER ITEMS FOR OUR UPCOMING FRIENDS MARKET SALE!
Our Friends of the Library group is dedicated to supporting the MCC Library by collecting used books, thrifted items, and other gently used materials for periodic market sale events throughout the year. These sales are a cornerstone of our fundraising efforts, allowing us to raise funds that supplement the library’s budget for materials, technology, and service essentials. By gathering donated books and other items, we not only provide students with affordable resources but also create an engaging event that fosters connection and participation. Proceeds from these sales are directly invested in enhancing the library’s collection, supporting literacy initiatives, and upgrading facilities and equipment. Donations can be dropped off to the library during regular business hours.

SUGGESTED ITEMS: books, toys, games, puzzles, seasonal decor, home interior, small hand tools, electronics, dvds, records, kitchenware, bags, jewelry, arts and crafts, stationery, school supplies, handmade items.

WE CANNOT ACCEPT: used clothing or plush, appliances, baby items, outdated materials like textbook, encyclopedias, cassette or VHS tapes tapes, magazines, multiple copies of books or books that are torn, mildewed or badly stained.

*If you need help to cart in items, contact [email protected] for an appointment. Otherwise, drop off during regular open library hours.
