❄️ Our students stepped up for a great cause! They joined the Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser walk in downtown Flint, supporting Shelter of Flint and helping raise funds for those experiencing homelessness. Their efforts raised over $1,000 and earned them the #8 fundraising spot out of 34 teams! 👏

Congratulations to Destiny Bell! We were proud to select Destiny as our Good Citizen for the 2025–2026 school year. As part of the recognition, Destiny completed a two-hour, on-site essay, without internet or outside resources, examining how the qualities of good citizenship help strengthen our democracy.

The honor is presented by the Genesee Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, which recognizes students from 15 area high schools who demonstrate Dependability, Service, Leadership, and Patriotism. Learn more about our Mott Middle College programs at https://mmc.geneseeisd.org/.

Mott Middle Early College has been Recognized as
In 1991 Mott Middle College was founded under a start-up grant from The Mott Foundation. It took 3 full years to become a complete high school with the first class graduating in 1994.

In 1994-95 Mott Middle College Began its relationship with North Central Accreditation. During the 5-year Mott Middle College solidified its processes, curriculum and met NCA requirements in 1999. In the ensuing years, North Central Accreditation became AdVanced ED and now Cognia.
