Hello Campus Community,

To promote acceptance, inclusion, and understanding of autistic individuals, the University of Michigan-Flint is hosting Officer Friendly Day—a free event on May 9th from 1:00–3:00 PM.

This event is designed for autistic individuals, their families, caregivers, friends, and allies. It provides a unique opportunity to build positive relationships with police officers before an emergency occurs and to get safety-related questions answered in a supportive environment.

Who is this event for?
Children, adolescents, and adults with autism, along with their families, caregivers, friends, and allies.
