May is Mental Health Awareness month. Participate in our spirit week to help promote mental health awareness! Students, make sure you stop by the Connections table in the cafeteria on Tuesday to receive your Mental Health Awareness Toolkit!

Yesterday, Kearsley High School students took part in the annual Flint Metro League Math and Science competition against 10 other local schools (Brandon, Clio, Fention, Flushing, Goodrich, Holly, Lake Fenton, Linden, Owosso and Swartz Creek).

Several of our students received medals for their ranking…

Aleah Ash placed 2nd in the Biology competition, Zachary Giessinger placed 2nd in the Chemistry Lab competition, and Karen Sherwood placed 3rd in the Chemistry competition.

Two other students also ranked in the top 5…

Alena Thomason ranked 5th in the Geophysical Science competition and Taylor Walters ranked 5th in the AP Biology Lab competition.

Congratulations to all who took part in the competition.

The halls of Kearsley High School have been buzzing with excitement as students prepare for this year’s spring musical, The Wizard of Oz. Colorful costumes, songs, and a dedicated cast and crew, the production is shaping up to be the best school musical yet.

had the opportunity to explore the Gateways African American Collection exhibit at Flint Institute of Arts today. Students were incredibly thoughtful, curious, & engaged in everything they saw. They also participated in a studio art project creating collages in the style of artwork and artists they saw today.
