October is National Principals month! We want to take this opportunity to thank the CGCS leadership team. Great Christian schools are not built by accident. They are the product of leaders who pray intentionally, exercise faith, and care deeply for the children and community they serve.

Being a principal/vice principal often requires sacrifice that no one will ever see.
-late nights and early mornings
-praying at home for our children and families
-drying tears and offering encouragement
-high fives in the hallway
-making tough decisions
-being there when no one else is
-showing up at games, concerts, graduations, weddings, baptisms
-fighting for and facilitating the success of our children
And so much more…

This National Principals month we celebrate Phil Wilhelm, Brad Durby and Kevin Johnson for showing up every day for our school and our community. Thank you for doing all the things we can see and all the things that go unnoticed. Someday soon you will wear stars in your crown celebrating the lives that you have changed for eternity.

Please take a moment to thank our leaders this month!

This year many of us have witnessed courage in those around us and often that courage surfaces during hard times. Emotions of empathy and loss remind us of the feeling of being homesick for Heaven. But while on Earth, what a privilege it is to support students to learn and discuss compassion, perseverance and hope, as they learn from others to become their best selves in service. A dream of one, can make a difference for many! On Monday, almost 100 students and parents joined together for our Marathon of Hope! Thank you for those who came our way!
