Our 6th grader is a surprisingly knowledgeable reptile enthusiast. He gave a presentation to one of the first grade classes last week, and it was such a hit that he was asked to do the same with several other classes! Campers can definitely plan on learning about and having the opportunity to pet our bearded dragon and juvenile banana ball python. 😊 🐍🦎

Welcome! We are so excited about our forest day camp! Registration is finally open! Read this post for more info, and click the blue "Sign Up" button to go to the registration form.

Some basic information:

We are Travis and Erin Galloway! Travis is an experienced (and beloved!) art teacher. He has taught art in the elementary grades for over 15 years. Erin is a musician (several instruments and genres, but mostly piano and singing). She holds a degree in music education and has taught piano to children from age 4 and up for 10 years. We have two older children (ages 9 and 12) who are excited to help our campers have the best time!

We are located on two acres in the Hooper's Creek area of Fletcher. We moved here in the Summer of 2022 because we love the woods and the mountains!!

We are accepting children who will be entering grades 1-3 next school year. Our maximum capacity is 8 campers per session.

This camp will feature a lot of creative free play outside, with some music and art centered activities sprinkled in. Send them in play clothes!!!

We will be open for three sessions this Summer:
June 12-16
June 26-30
July 17-21

Hours are from 9 am to 1 pm.

Children will need to bring a packed lunch and water bottle. We will provide snacks.

Cost is $150 per session, with a $25 deposit to hold your spot.
