We want to congratulate our newly elected 2026-2027 Student Representatives to the Board of Education, freshman John Mark and junior Mia Yurecko (in middle of photo)! They received a congratulations and good luck from our outgoing student reps Bronwyn Downey and Alexis Chen who are both graduating. We thank John and Mia for stepping up to serve and we look forward to hearing their reports at the board meetings on behalf of the student body!

Congratulations to Senior Class President, Brandon Delcid, who earned one of the 2026 Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarship! This is a prestigious, achievement-based scholarship for graduating high school seniors in the United States, awarding $20,000 to 150 selected students each year, based on their leadership, service, and commitment to community impact.

Today in his AP Environmental Science class, Brandon in turn surprised his teacher, Ms. Victoria Grasso, with the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Educators of Distinction Award for her dedication to the field of education! Congratulations to both Brandon and Ms. Grasso!

The Marching Red Devils participated in the 250th Hunterdon Parade yesterday in Flemington to celebrate our country's upcoming anniversary. Thank you to the organizers for the invitation and to our band and color guard members who always proudly represent Hunterdon Central!

Yesterday, students in the AP Environmental Science class with Ms. Grasso launched floating wetlands that they designed into the retention basin in the back of our campus, with the assistance of the Hunterdon County Parks Department. This is a College Board AP with WE service service-learning project in which the students are participating to help clean up the water in the basin for the growing number of organisms that live there. This project was possible thanks in part to a grant from the Hunterdon Central School Foundation.

Congratulations to the third class to successfully complete the Biomedical Science Academy, part of Hunterdon Central's Magnet Program! On Monday, a pinning ceremony was held to celebrate the 15 seniors who completed four years of Biomedical Science courses.
