Our first-year Law Enforcement & Homeland Security program students look forward to being part of this remembrance ceremony on Friday. 🇺🇸

Hilltop Preserve in Raritan Township has a high elevation — about 700 feet above sea level — and offered a view of smoke rising more than 45 miles away from the Twin Towers on Sept. 11, 2001.

A small portion of the 58-acre site, which remains an active farm, has been set aside to remember 9/11 and the 15 Hunterdon County residents killed in the attacks, Hunterdon County Sheriff Fred Brown said.

Our first College Tuesday of the year! Thank you to Maine College of Art and Design for coming down today to speak with our students. It's a great, small art school. Polytech has alumni from our Commercial Arts, Animation, and Graphic Design programs who have or are attending MECA&D.

For 2026 graduate Chase, the Hunterdon County Polytech Welding Technology program was where he discovered a real passion for the trade. With the instruction and mentorship of Mr. Michael Stanley, Chase built his skills, gained valuable hands-on experience, and found a career path he’s excited to pursue. Chase hopes to be working with Local 475 in the coming year as he takes the next step toward a career in welding.

Pictured here is a fun moment from last year when Chase chose Mr. Stanley as the teacher to wear his hockey jersey! It’s a small moment that says a lot about the connections students can make with the instructors who teach and mentor them.

We’re so proud of Chase and excited to see where his skills take him next!

Our first Polytech Spirit Wear Store of the school year will open on August 31 and close on September 14.
