Hello,

We hope the return to school has gone smoothly for all our members and that everyone is enjoying the new school term.

A Taekwondo championship has been scheduled for Sunday, December 13, at Saint Elizabeth University in Morristown.
Notably, this year’s event will feature new categories—including an obstacle course, power breaking, and group Poomsae—in addition to the standard Poomsae, breaking, and sparring divisions.

Please mark the date on your calendars. We will share further details as soon as they are finalized.

I have two good news to share:
1. The test date has been confirmed: Saturday, October 10th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
2. The appointed examiners are myself, G. Master Jang (7th Dan Black Belt, 2nd Class International Master, and 2nd Class International Dan Examiner), and Master Akil Acevedo (6th Dan Black Belt, 2nd Class International Master, and 2nd Class International Dan Examiner). One or two additional examiners are also scheduled to be assigned.
3. We will prepare all the necessary packages this week and distribute them to the students taking the test starting next Monday.
4. We ask for your support in ensuring the students do not miss any classes.

December 2024. It was a truly cold day. However, around 60 JSK members participated in the holiday parade and put on a fantastic team demonstration. I heard that ours was the largest group among all the participants.

December 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM. We have been invited again and have decided to participate.
Preparation will take place during regular classes starting in early November.
Parents, please mark this date on your calendars so you can attend the event.

December 5th at 5:00 PM (Saturday).

Starting Thursday, September 3rd, JSK will revert to the previous schedule.
This means weekday classes will begin 30 minutes later than the current times; however, Saturday classes remain unchanged.

Just to reiterate: starting Thursday, September 3rd, classes will begin 30 minutes later than the current schedule. Saturday classes remain unchanged.
