The Fleming County High School Bowling Team celebrated their 2025-2026 season on Thursday, March 5th @ Double S Entertainment.

The bowlers were treated to dinner prepared by JBā€™s Grill followed by the presentation of awards.

Coach Gary Shannon, Coach Andrea Baldwin & Assistant Coaches Zach Baldwin & Crystal Ruark along with the teams family and friends were on hand to help in the celebration.

This group of athletes worked hard this season improving their individual games as well as learning to work together and support each other. We are excited to see what next year holds!

The following bowlers received extra recognition for their achievements during the season:
Girls Team:
Kendall Hawkins - High Game 195
Alayna Hunt - High Average 148
Ashleigh Hamilton - Most Improved
Chloe Reynolds - 110% Award
Anissa Marshall - Best Newcomer
Jailan Willoughby - Team Spirit

To conclude the evening the team helped Timmy Harvey celebrate his birthday by serenading him.

A special thanks to all the parents & guardians who support these athletes and help to encourage them and get them back and forth to practices. It truly does take a village.

Congrats again FCHS Bowling Panthers of a great season! We encourage you to continue to stay focused and using proper techniques while practicing in the off season!

Congratulations to Fleming County Panther Bowler Timmy Harvey on finishing 5th out of 79 Guys rolling in the Singles at Regionals this morning.

Timmy finished his first round with a total pun count of 643 and will be advancing to round two!

Way to Roll young man!!! Way to roll!

In my 21 yrs of coaching I have never been more proud of a team as I was today of the Fleming County Girls team at regionals. They ended up finishing 5th out of a region containing 16 teams. They finally learned how to manage the sport and undaerdtand the focus it takes to perform it. When they started the season I thought it was a year of rebuilding but they proved Andrea Zach and I wrong by their level of improvement throughout the season. With the oldest on the team two sophomores and the rest 7th and 8th the future really looks bright. Thank you girls for your dedication. Also thank Andrea and Zach Baldwin for coming aboard to help build the Fleming Co team. Letā€™s not forget our team mother Crystal Ruark. Panther Strong into next year.

1/22/2026 - Regional Girls Team Bowling Tournament in Richmond, KY

FCHS Lady Bowling Panthers ā€” We are so proud of your focus and commitment on the lanes today!

The ladies seeded 5th after first round, went on to overcome Wayne County in first 3 bakers and took Madison Central to the 5th baker before falling short. These young ladies have overcome several challenges and learning curves this season but today they came together and fought as a true team! We couldnā€™t have asked for anything more.

Hats off to first time Coaches Andrea Ruark Baldwin & Zachary Baldwin, Veteran Coach Gary Shannon and Assistant Coach and their biggest cheerleader Crystal Ruark for the support, encouragement & confidence they gave to the girls today and throughout this season.

We invite you to help us cheer on both our FCHS Bowlers (Guys and Girls) as theyā€™ll roll in Singles and Unified Bowling tomorrow, Friday, January 23rd for another chance to make it to the state championship in February.
