As we get closer to the start of school, we want to make sure families know when our open house times are! Make plans to attend to meet your teacher, drop off school supplies, pick up your car tag, and visit with friends!!! Staff have been working hard to finalize class placements and we are excited for a brand new year at Ewing!! Please read below regarding class rosters as well as information on our upper elementary teacher teams! If you do not hear from your homeroom teacher by Monday- call the school and someone can let you know who your child has! Let’s have a great year!

FES OPEN HOUSE DATE CHANGE — KINDERGARTEN FAMILIES INCLUDED! 🐾💛

Bobcat families, we have an exciting update to share regarding our upcoming FES Open House!

As our teachers, staff, construction crews, and many others continue working together to put the finishing touches on our beautiful new school, we are making a slight adjustment to our Open House plans. This change will allow us to make sure classrooms and learning spaces are ready, welcoming, and just right for our Bobcats when you arrive.

Kindergarten families will now join us for FES Open House in place of Kindergarten Jumpstart.

We know our kindergarten families have been looking forward to getting inside the building, meeting teachers, and helping their newest Bobcats feel comfortable and excited about beginning school. Open House will provide that special opportunity while allowing our teachers the time they need to finish preparing their classrooms for an amazing first year in our new home.

We are incredibly grateful for everyone’s patience, flexibility, and excitement as so many people work behind the scenes to bring every detail together. Every extra day, every finishing touch, and every adjustment is being made with our students in mind.

🐾 Our teachers are preparing.
🏫 Our new school is coming together.
💛 And we cannot wait to welcome ALL of our Bobcats—including our newest kindergarten Bobcats—home to FES!

Please mark your calendars for our updated FES Open House:
📅 Monday, August 24, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM–6:00 PM

And this celebration isn't just for our students and families! We warmly invite our community members to stop by during Open House as well. We know how much excitement and support our community has shared throughout the journey of building our new school, and we would love for you to come inside, explore the new FES, and see the incredible new home that has been created for our Bobcats.

This school belongs to a community that has invested in our children, supported our staff, and cheered us on every step of the way. We cannot wait to proudly open our doors and share it with you!

Thank you for growing with us, cheering us on, and trusting the process as we prepare a place our Bobcats will be proud to call home.

FES is almost ready… and on August 24, we can't wait to welcome our Bobcats, families, AND community through the doors! 🐾💛
