First General session of the conference and then the kids attended the learning expo and college walk to learn about different career path options. Then we started the nextday at Hunter’s Honey Farm learning about beekeeping and honey extraction. The FFA members got to taste different honeys from different field sources such as local Buckwheat and Orange Blossoms from Florida. They bottled their own sample of Clover honey too…it was a tasty tour. Spent the afternoon at the World’s toughest broncs and bulls rodeo - a special session just for the FFA members and then a Pacers game to finish out the evening. We attended the American Degree ceremony Saturday morning to watch Natali Boerner and Nathan Brekel cross the stage! Congratulations to you both! Had a little time to sightsee downtown Indy before closing session where the kids heard retiring addresses from the 22/23 officer team, performances by the FFA Band and Choir, and met the newly elected 23/24 National FFA officer team. Our kids were part of the 72k members in attendance. We also got to see the Indianapolis Speedway and museum.
