We had a great time exploring apples last week through stories, hands-on activities, and a little taste of fall! From learning about apples to getting creative, our preschoolers had so much fun learning and playing together. 🍎🍏

Friday we wore our red, white & blue as we remembered Patriot Day and honored the heroes and sacrifices of September 11. ❤️🤍💙

We’re thankful for those who serve, protect, and care for others, and we pray for our country and the people who call it home. 🇺🇸

We had a great week with our theme “All About Me!” Our students also got to enjoy visiting our resource teachers and exploring movement, art, Bible, and music! 🤸🏻‍♀️🎨🎶📖
Our VPK classes made their ever-so-famous rice babies, while our 2s and 3s spent time sharing all about themselves and their families with their friends. It was such a fun week celebrating what makes each of our students unique and special! We can’t wait to see what next week brings! 🍎

Today was the first day of our VPK Brain Boosters program!
This week we are learning “All About Me!” Our students spent the afternoon getting to know themselves and their friends while practicing name and letter recognition and exploring measurement by measuring their shoes and even their bodies! We had fun comparing our measurements and seeing who was bigger/smaller.
Our book this week is Whoever You Are, and we are learning that God created each of us uniquely and wonderfully! ❤️
We are off to a great start, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the week brings!

This week, we welcomed our students back for a brand-new school year! We had the best time getting to know our new friends, exploring our new classrooms, and jumping right into lots of fun and play! We are looking forward to a wonderful year ahead filled with friendship, learning, laughter and plenty of play! Here’s to a great year at River Preschool!
