Our amazing advisor, Mrs. Stephanie Moore is this week’s CTE Spotlight! We couldn’t ask for a better advisor/teacher, and can’t wait for what’s to come. (Stay tuned 😉) 💚💛🦅

Mrs. Stephanie Moore serves as the Health Sciences Instructor at Braxton County High School, where she has established a culture of excellence, high expectations, and student success. ✨🩺

An exceptional educator, Mrs. Moore, consistently goes above and beyond to ensure every student can thrive. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her students' outstanding accomplishments, including a 93% average passing rate on this year's NOCTI assessment. Her dedication and impact have also earned her the distinction of being named Braxton County High School's Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year.

As the school's HOSA advisor, Mrs. Moore inspires students to pursue leadership opportunities, challenge themselves, and strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Most recently, she led six students to the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, where two students achieved a Top 10 finish in the world in the Health Education event. Their award-winning project focused on teaching infection prevention and control strategies to second-grade students, demonstrating the real-world impact of the knowledge and leadership Mrs. Moore instills in her students.👏

🩺🌟 AUGUST MEMBER SPOTLIGHT! 🌟 🩺

We are starting a monthly member spotlight, but we simply couldn’t just choose one for our first spotlight recognition. Today, we’re celebrating two outstanding HOSA members who are taking leadership and service to the next level! 🩸♥️

If you follow our page, you’ve likely seen the success these two had during the summer at International Leadership Conference. They placed 6th in the world in Health Education!!! But they’ve continued to work hard in other endeavors.

Joslynn Napier and Alexander Dennison have taken the initiative to become official Blood Donor Ambassadors with the American Red Cross, continuing a commitment to serving their community that began when they were freshmen.

Since their freshman year, they have volunteered with the Red Cross and have assisted with 6 HOSA blood drives—giving their time, energy, and compassion to help make a difference in the lives of others.

Their willingness to step up, serve, and lead is exactly what HOSA is all about! We are incredibly proud of the example they are setting for our chapter and our younger members. 👏🏼
