What an incredible day at the Braxton County Community Pool!! We hosted the Pirates & Mermaids Day in partnership with the Pool and The Health Plan, Our special guests were Captain Red & Ariel from Little Glass Slipper. All of the kids went home with water and sun safety goodies in their bags complete with sunglasses, sunscreen lip balm, water bottles and more! There were mermaid and pirate games, tattoos, lots of photos, laughs and a lot of splashing! Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy this special day with us!

🏊 Pool Open: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM

Come meet Pirate Captain Redd and a beautiful Mermaid Princess, enjoy pirate and mermaid games and activities, and cool off with a fun-filled day of swimming!
Families will receive FREE goodie bags featuring water and sun safety information while supplies last.

All pirate and mermaid activities are FREE with paid pool admission!

T-Mobile's Project 10Million provides eligible K-12 students with a free mobile hotspot and 200 GB of data annually for up to five years, helping address barriers to internet access for homework, virtual learning, and educational resources. Eligibility is based on participation in programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, the National School Lunch Program, CEP, or FDPIR.
