Entering its 50th year, Head Start is the nation's largest and most successful school readiness program. The Head Start emphasis is on preschool education and scho

ol readiness for children from 3 to 5 years, while Early Head Start (EHS) focuses on the healthy development of infants and toddlers along with prenatal care and family support systems. NACOG uses several program options to provide Preschool and Early Head Start services in 28 Northern Arizona communities on behalf of 1613 children. Be Kind and Courteous

FREE Car Seat Check Event!đź’şOur friends at Coconino County Health and Human Services are helping parents and caregivers to make sure children are riding safely.

The event will be held Thursday, September 3, from 8:30–11:30 a.m. at the Cal Ranch parking lot, 2530 N. Fourth St. in .

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will provide hands-on instruction to help parents and caregivers learn how to properly install and use their child’s car seat. Old, broken or recalled child safety seats will be replaced free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis for Coconino County residents only.
