Come dance the night away at the International Dance Party!

The International Dance Party and Flagstaff Food Bank Drive is back with a bang on April 11th from 7-9pm at the International Pavilion! With free performances, global music, food, and dance, there is sure to be something for everyone at this fantastic event: Admission is only 2-3 cans or boxes of food, thanks to generous donations from NAU Language Clubs and the Center for International Education. Come dressed to impress and show of your fancy footwork or just enjoy some great atmosphere and food off the dance floor.

Join us for a virtual visit from Bruna Dantas Lobato, Brazilian author of the critically acclaimed novel, Blue Light Hours. Lobato will discuss her writing, her training in translation, and influences on her writing she has gained from living in both Brazil and the U.S. She will also address other themes touched on in her novel, including immigration, education for international students, and mother-daughter relationships.

Join us Wednesday, April 2nd in Liberal Arts Room 136, for 猛龍過江 (The Way of the Dragon), the 1972 Hong Kong martial arts action comedy film co-produced and directed by Bruce Lee, who also stars in the lead role as a martial artist who helps his relatives after they are forced by a crime syndicate to sell their restaurant.

Join us Wednesday, March 5th in Liberal Arts Room 136, for the 2013 Italian drama-comedy film La Mafia Uccide Solo d’Estate (The Mafia only Kills in Summer), following Arturo, a young boy whose obsession with the Mafia's casual presence in his city surpasses even his passion for Flora, the beautiful schoolmate who remains his main love interest until adulthood. Satirist Pif uses Arturo's unrequited love story as the vehicle to narrate the most tragic events in Italy's recent history.

Join us Wednesday, Feb. 12 in Liberal Arts Room 136, for 羅生門 (Rashomon), the riveting 1950 psychological thriller that investigates the nature of truth and the meaning of justice and is widely considered one of the greatest films ever made. Four people give different accounts of a man’s murder and the r**e of his wife, which director Akira Kurosawa presents with striking imagery and an ingenious use of flashbacks.
