Happy Mentor Monday Jacks.

We would like to introduce one of our newest mentors, Steve Kaloczi. Steve is studying Interdisciplinary Humanities and is set to graduate in Fall 2025.

Steve wanted to become a JO Peer Mentor because he “wanted to have a more active role in our school “.

During his free time, he enjoys attending community events focused in the Arts and riding his Harley.

Fun fact about Steve is he and his wife are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this month.

Happy Mentor Monday Jacks.

We would like to introduce one of our newest mentors, Coral Crawford. Coral is in her last semester of the BSN (Nursing Program) and is set to graduate this December.

Coral wanted to become a JO Peer Mentor because she “wanted to work on her personal growth and communication skills. And because she has always wanted to be able to support people that didn’t have much support in the first place!”

During her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling, and taking naps.

Corals advice to students/mentees is “don’t sweat the small stuff. Because big stuff eventually gets small”.

Happy first Mentor Monday Jacks.

We would like to introduce one of our newest mentors, Abby Hamilton. Abby is studying Elementary Education and is set to graduate in Spring 2025 .

Abby wanted to become a JO Peer Mentor because she “believes the best support system as a college student are other college students who are experiencing the same struggles and achievements”.

Abby would also like to share that she’s “had the opportunity to encourage and support other college students”. But she’s also received the same from her mentees.

During her free time, she likes to read psychological thrillers and build Legos.

Abby’s “advice for many college students is to remember you’re going to be tired, and some days are going to feel like they’re never going to end, so always have some sort of caffeine in your fridge”.
