Last time at Tinkergarten, these Explorers wondered, "How can we balance the things around us?". We kicked off our "We Are Scientists" unit by setting up stations to explore physics concepts in playful ways and took some cues from a creature with great balancing skills - the Beaver !🦫
⚖Scales and balance boards offer kids hands-on, accessible ways to explore scientific concepts like cause and effect, weight and balance, and simple machines. They also provide
practice using super scientist skills, like comparing, making predictions, and testing solutions.
💪Best of all, these super balancers had the BEST time exercising their vestibular and proprioceptive skills by balancing themselves and their friends!
Children learn best through play and there's no better classroom than nature!
