Join us on Thursday, November 21 for an artist talk with Rodrigo de Toledo.

Rodrigo de Toledo: Kin celebrates fantastical ancestors on large acrylic paintings, transported from the walls of an otherworldly and ageless temple. Portraits of entities staring from a mythological realm. On a visually distressed canvas surface, de Toledo disrupts his own pre-established iconographic vocabulary and the visual language of comics and cartoons, using playfully fluid energetic graphisms.

Join us for a fun spring afternoon of pizza and chatting with fellow creatives and students at Grimaldi's Pizzeria on Saturday, March 23 starting at 12PM. Tickets will be $5 for all attendees, and that includes pizza. Please register asap!

Making Your Mark
Finding your creative voice in the new normal

It’s never been a better time to be creative. There are so many paths to success – freelance, agency, entrepreneur, in-house and more. But things are… different than they used to be. How do we grow our creative potential in a world of uncertainty? What skills are in demand? And BTW – where does confidence come from? Eric shares mistakes and successes, as well as practical insights in this interactive presentation.

The AIGA student group is starting back up this Thursday, September 15th.

Our student group is a great way to learn more about the design field, build connections, meet other students, meet industry professionals, and overall help you prepare for a successful career. We organize weekly fun events, such as craft nights, critique nights, movie nights, game nights, creative mixers with local design professionals, design talks, and workshops. Hope to see you there!

Join us for our design and illustration talk with Bobby Long, who will present tips and approaches he’s gathered over the years, working under his pen name, NearsightGraphite. March 3rd, 5:30 pm in person at NAU and on Zoom.

The 2022 AIGA AZ Portfolio Review is coming up. This is a great opportunity to get feedback from industry professionals and make new connections. I highly recommend attending, especially if you graduating this year. Also, this year you will have the opportunity again to be paired with a reviewer based on your choice of design area.
