Northland Preparatory Academy Bands

Hey all!! Come check this out!!! Like last year at Flag High, Academy is rehearsing in Northern Arizona for their tour competition. First view of their efforts tomorrow. I’ve been fortunate enough to hear them rehearse every day… from my house a mile away.

Welcome new sixers to NPA. I hope you steer your elective choice to band. This is the only year we start at base level and then progress to college readiness. I know making a choice is hard, but guaranteed you will have fun in band!! As you move through grade 7, 8, etc, you can add more electives… so make band your choice!! Happy first day of summer break. Now, get your horns in for preventative maintenance. Fix those checks and loose screws. Then, try and play one a week!!

It’s hard. Students may or may not understand that having them for seven years as a student is impactful. It’s hard to say goodbye. It seems this is the last of a core of students that really understands commitment and dedication. I salute this group of five!! I will sorely miss you as I have missed those that preceded you. Congratulations on your graduation!! Please visit. Thank you to those that have.
