16 new Mahjong players are officially ready for the table! 🀄️🏔️

And THIS is why I love what I do.

I had the best time teaching this group of 16 and introducing them to one of my very favorite games.

But my favorite part is knowing the lesson is really just the beginning.

Because now they can play with friends, come to Open Play, meet new people. Gather around a table and laugh for a few hours!

And little by little, our Mountain Mahjong community keeps growing.

16 more seats at the table. And I couldn’t be happier about it.

I FINALLY remembered to take pictures. 😂

After THREE lessons/events where I got so busy teaching and playing that I completely forgot…we have photographic evidence!

These three officially joined the Mahjong world, and it was so much fun getting to teach them the game from start to finish.

And then we had a WINNER! 🏆🀄️ Swipe to see our Mahjong champ!

One of my favorite things about teaching is watching that moment when the tiles start to make sense. What begins as “Wait…what am I supposed to be looking for again?” slowly turns into strategy, confidence, a little friendly competition—and a whole lot of fun.

And hopefully this is just the beginning.

Learn the game → come to Open Play → meet new people → find your table.

Because Mahjong is how we meet. Friendship is why we come back.
