At Rising Mountain Academy, this week has been all about slowing down, soaking in the moments, and celebrating the incredible educators who make our school so special. 💛
As the school year begins to wind down, we’re embracing a slower pace — more connection, more laughter, more presence, and more gratitude for the teachers who pour their hearts into our students every single day.

Rising Mountain End Of The Year Celebration!

As we wrap up an incredible year at , we’re getting ready to celebrate our amazing students with an End of the Year Party! 🎉💛

We are currently looking for food and drink donations to help make this day extra special for our students, families, and staff. Donations of snacks, drinks, fruit trays, pizza, desserts, paper products, or gift cards are all greatly appreciated!

This month we’re celebrating:
✨ Being featured on the front page of the Arizona Daily Sun
✨ Receiving a surprise $25,000 grant from the Arizona Community Foundation
✨ Preparing to move into a larger space so we can serve even more children and families
✨ Wrapping up another incredible school year together

We’re also excited for our End of the Year Party on May 21st from 4–6 p.m. with food, face paint, balloon animals, and lots of fun! 🎈🎉

Wrapping up these last few weeks with a little color, a little science, and a whole lot of heart 🎨🧪💛

From tie-dye creations to colorful experiments, our students have been staying engaged while finishing up curriculum and enjoying more games together. These days may feel a little slower, but they’re full of connection, creativity, and growth in all the best ways.

As we start getting ready to pack up and move into our new space, we’re soaking in these “chiller” moments and celebrating how far everyone has come this year. Big transitions ahead—and we couldn’t be more excited 🏔️✨

We wrapped up our final field trip with High Country Adaptive Sports at Bearizona Wildlife Park—and it was nothing short of incredible. From exploring wildlife to building confidence in a new environment, our students showed curiosity, courage, and connection every step of the way.

Back on campus, the learning didn’t slow down. This week we focused on multi-step processes through movement and creativity—whether it was following routines in Just Dance, flowing through yoga sequences, or completing arts and crafts projects that challenged fine motor skills and sequencing. These moments may look like play, but they’re building independence, problem-solving, and confidence in powerful ways.
