Sechrist Hall Northern Arizona University

Sechrist Hall at NAU opened its doors in January of 1962 and is named after Dr. C.W. Sechrist, a former Arizona physician and legislator.

Historically, Sechrist was an all-male hall but now serves 570 students in co-educational atmosphere.

Are you ready Lumber-Jacks and Jills?! The Sechrist Hall Staff sure is! As today is one of the last days of move in, the RA's are all geared up and pumped to have a new set of residents and a new exciting year ahead. Don't forget all of the Welcome Week events and take advantage of these times to make new friends! Tonight is Playfair followed by Movin' at the Mac, ask your RA what they are and go have a blast! On Sunday we are all lining up to do our very own NAU letters and become apart of our own Lumberjack history! Get to know the people on your floor Sunday night with your first floor meeting and get ready for all your classes! Excited you are all here!!!

Come join the Courtyards community for a weekend full of awesome programs! On Saturday, 4/22 from 2-5pm in the McDonald Hall Courtyard, we will be hosting EarthFest. Stop by to plant some herbs, taste local and organic foods, repurpose old tshirts, take home some items to encourage your own sustainable practices, and more! Bring an old tshirt, a cup, and a plate if you can.

Do you love all things outer space?! Do you want to go to Lowell Observatory for FREE?

Then come join RHA on Sunday, April 23rd at 8:10 PM to indulge your outer space needs at Lowell Observatory. We will be giving out free event T-shirts when you come pick up your ticket at the Union, upstairs in room 204! Only 50 tickets are available so bring your friends and grab your tickets for a fun and free social event!

We will be providing transportation but if you would like to drive yourself and your friends meet us at Lowell at 8:20 PM.
