The Forestry Club (FC) at Northern Arizona University (NAU) is a non-profit student organization for students interested in forestry, ecology, botany and the environment. We are recognized by the university through the Office of Student Life and serve as the Student Chapter of the Society of American Foresters (SAF).

Hey Foresters, we hope your first week of online classes went well! Remember to leave your first SAF payment of $150 in Cat’s mailbox by Tuesday if you are planning on going to Rhode Island with us! If you just want to get it out of the way, you are free to pay the full 300 as well.

Today in our meeting, Alicia, one of our new professors, will be speaking about her forestry experience and research! As well as this talk, we will be sending around the interest/sign up sheet for next year’s SAF convention.

Hey foresters, today we have a guest speaker at our meeting today, Dr. Alark Saxena will be speaking about his prior experience in forestry before coming to NAU.

Today we have freshman representative elections, be sure to pay your dues for this semester (only $5) and come by to help be a part of the democratic process!

Hey Foresters! We have a meeting today in room 136, and are cleaning the O’Minor room! Be sure to come, as this will count towards your SAF community service hours!
The second round of nominations for freshman representatives is tonight, so be sure to pay your dues, only 5 dollars a semester!
