FUSD announced its continued sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program for children in our community. This program is designed to ensure that all children ages 18 and under have access to nutritious meals during the summer months. Save the details📍⏰!

Making space for what matters 💫. Family night at Lowell Observatory was truly out of this world (get it??).

It was such an incredible opportunity for our community to come together outside of school. We are so lucky to have this awesome facility right in our backyard. 🔭✨

It’s been a fantastic Teacher Appreciation Week at Summit! We’ve spent the last few days celebrating the incredible educators who go above and beyond for our students every single day.

The highlights:

Student-Run Car Wash: Leadership rolled up their sleeves to get everyone’s ride sparkling clean.

“Wigging Out” Wednesday: Our principal spoiled us with a hilarious themed breakfast—hairpieces included!

Teacher Summit Superlatives: We wrapped things up by honoring our staff’s unique personalities with some highly anticipated awards.

To all our teachers: Thank you for your passion, your patience, and for making every day at the Summit count. We appreciate you!

We weren’t going to let a chilly forecast stop the fun! Rain or shine (though we’re thankful it was shine) we made it happen. Huge shoutout to everyone for rolling with the punches, and to the ponchos for keeping us dry! Splash Day was a total win. Let’s go Summit! ☀️💦

Today, May 5th, is National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW).

For too long, the stories of Indigenous women, girls, and two-spirit people have been pushed to the sidelines. At Summit High School, we believe that silence is not an option. Today, our students & staff joined on their Prayer & Awareness Walk.
