The Navajo Treatment Center for Children and Their Families hosts a virtual support group bi-weekly for individuals dealing with challenges and to share experiences, minimize loneliness and receive support.

You are welcome to join our virtual community of emotional and social support on April 29, 2026.

Individuals can gain coping skills, validations, and shared knowledge.

Ground rules will be established including, having respect for each other, being non-judgmental, and having confidentiality for what others share.

WINDOW ROCK — The Navajo Nation Division for Children and Family Services (NDCFS) announces that the Navajo School Clothing and School Supplies (NSCSS) Program portal is now officially open, giving families the opportunity to apply for critical back-to-school assistance.

🚨 The application portal is now OPEN and will automatically CLOSE once 200 children have been reached. Families are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible to secure assistance. Apply online at https://ndcfs.org/navajo-school-clothing-school-supplies-program/ 🚨

This program provides financial support of up to $200 per eligible child, ages 3 to 18, helping parents and guardians purchase school clothing and supplies of their choice.

Administered through the Navajo Financial Assistance Unit (FAU), the program is funded through Navajo Nation and federal resources to serve families across the Nation.

"The opening of the portal marks an important opportunity for families to prepare their children for the upcoming school year,” said President Nygren. "By ensuring students have proper clothing and essential supplies, the program helps remove barriers to education, supporting attendance, boosting confidence, and promoting academic success.”

NDCFS continues its broader mission to strengthen families and communities through additional support services.
These include the Burial Assistance Program, the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).
