For this week’s general meeting we’ll be spending the night enjoying NAU’s annual homecoming carnival! We’ll meet at our regular meeting space at 3:30pm then head over as a group by 3:45. See you there 🤙🏽

We had such a fun Okakopa (October) with our HAPA Ohana! Look forward to more games, events, & lu’au updates for the rest of the semester! 🤙🏽

📣 Call for Hula Dancers 📣

We’ve been asked to perform a hula at the Native American Heritage Month Reception on November 3rd, we’d love to have our members join us!!

Once we have your interest, we’ll put together practice days & times to teach everyone the hula and prepare for the performance.

Get ready for a busy October!! We have a lot to look forward to!

This Friday, October 10th, we have our third general meeting at the IMQ at 5pm, afterwards we’ll be having a social at Aloha Hawaiian Bbq downtown! The next morning we’ll be running with in honor of Indigenous Peoples Day, if you’re interested in running/walking with us please scan the qr code in the flyer. More information will be given at our meeting.

The following week on October 13th there will be a community lunch for Indigenous Peoples Day at the CNAIF from 12pm-2pm so stop by if you’re free!

Our second general meeting is this Friday, September 26!!

This week we’ll be meeting at our usual meeting space (IMQ) then walking over to the Center for Native American and Indigenous Futures for an event & dinner with Uncle Ka’imiloa and Kumu Kehau Chrisman!

Make sure to come with an appetite cause we’ll be grinding on some kalua pig, hulihuli chicken, poi, & more! Hope to see you there 🤙🏽
