Formed in April 2021, the museum project is in its' infancy, and is seeking supporters, volunteers, sponsors, and board members at this time.

Hello all car lovers in Flagstaff! We will be having a Benefit Raffle at the Flagstaff Cruisers Of AZ's Car Show this Saturday, May 13th - from 9am to 2pm. Flagstaff Auto Museum will have some awesome Raffle Prizes from Dairy Queen, Harbor Freight, NAPA Auto Parts - Grand Canyon Auto Supply, Pita Jungle, and more - PLUS COOL T-SHIRTS for any Donation or Raffle purchase of $20 or more. We hope to see you and your car there! John will also be there to talk about the new Business in Flagstaff - Zapped Classics - focused on converting Classic Cars to ELECTRIC! The annual classic car rally The Copperstate 1000 came through Flagstaff this week! They start every year at Temp Diablo Stadium and travel 1000 miles around the beautiful roads of Arizona. We love this event and hope to have a similar one in the future! Have a great drive!

Here is very early unpaved Route 66 near Lebanon, Missouri circa 1926. This is now East Elm in Lebanon, MO. We have people ask us questions about how much Route 66 was paved in its early days and this quote should help a little.
"December 15,1929 The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Route 66 was paved in Illinois and Kansas. About 2/3 of the route in Missouri was paved. The highway was completely unpaved in Texas. Just 64 miles of the 1,221 miles between New Mexico and California was paved."
