Heather Wales, Artist and Owner of Down to Earth Pottery has been creating with clay for over 25 years. Her work is often inspired by nature which is apparent in the colors of the earth and sea in her designs. She has owned and operated pottery studios in New Jersey and New Mexico, where she taught students of all ages how to create magic with a ball of clay and a wheel. A graduate of the Art Inst

itute of Ft. Lauderdale, Heather has returned to Florida to fulfill her dream of running a “studio with a view of the sea” and to live and work in a community open to the arts.
