🌟 Celebrating Our Unsung Heroes! 🌟

Today, we had the privilege of presenting our Inaugural Superintendent's Unsung Hurricane Hero of the Month awards! 🏆 Hurricane Heroes are recommended for recognition directly by their principals for demonstrating outstanding service, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to our school community.

Today, we recognized the following incredible team members:

✨ Jeanne Brooks - Special Education Teacher at FHSCCA
"Jeanne is a person the entire school can rely on, very dependable, and has a special gift for what she does." - Mr. Gamble

✨ Bridget Young Luke - Paraprofessional at BHMS
"Bridget is one of the most dependable employees that I have ever had on staff since taking over as the Principal of BHMS. She is growing as a leader on this campus!" - Mr. Heitzman

Each Hurricane Hero was honored with a certificate of recognition, a gift card, and celebratory balloons! To permanently commemorate their impact, their names will also be engraved on a custom plaque that will proudly be displayed at the Board Office.

🎉 Celebrating leadership excellence in our district!

During last night's Regular Monthly Board Meeting, the Superintendent proudly recognized our dedicated principals who completed the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) Executive Leadership Program.

After a full year of commitment to continuous growth and learning, each principal was awarded a certificate from the Leadership Growth Mindset Program. 📚✨

🎉 Big shoutout to our incredible interns!

Last night at the Regular Monthly Board Meeting, the Board recognized this outstanding group for their hard work and dedication during our 2026 school move. To show our gratitude for everything they did to make the transition a success, each intern was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Zaxby’s gift card by Chairman Jeremy Cox and Superintendent Mr. Shane Miller. 🎁🐔
