EAGLE School is an independent school dedicated to serving the educational needs of gifted and talent

The name for EAGLE School was chosen because of its appropriate symbolism for an endangered species of children - for their awesome independence and their need to soar without restraint. It was fitting, too, that the school was founded in 1982, declared by Congress to be the Year of the Eagle. The name EAGLE is also our acronym for the essential components of a fully developed education program fo

The EAGLE PARENTS ORGANIZATION recently sponsored a wonderful author visit. Barney Saltzberg, well known for his book Beautiful Oops!, spent time with our Nest and 1st Grade classes. He transformed students’ squiggles into charming drawings, read from his books, answered questions, and even taught the children a couple of songs. Thank you, EPO, and all the Read-a-Thon participants and donors, for making this creative and memorable experience possible!

Tech Day was a wonderful success for our 7th and 8th graders this past weekend! Nearly 50 students came in on their day off to paint sets, build props and costumes, and rehearse for their upcoming musicals. The day was full, energetic, and at times a bit chaotic - but also incredibly fun and rewarding.

At EAGLE School, performing in a production is an important part of the curriculum. Every student participates in their class performance: Nesters through 5th grade create a production that may include music, while our 6th, 7th, and 8th graders each stage their own class musical. A special thank you to director Mark Wurzelbacher and art teacher Sharon Irving for helping bring these productions to life.

This year, the EAGLE School MATHCOUNTS team performed exceptionally well despite scheduling conflicts with National History Day and Science Olympiad. The team earned Fourth Place overall at the Wisconsin State Competition, and Eric Zhang (’26) placed Fourth individually, earning a spot at the National Competition in Orlando this May. Congratulations to our students for their dedication, hard work, and impressive achievements!
