It’s been such a fun day at Arrows In the Hand Early Learning! In our theme, Camping Adventures🏕️, kids have learned how tents keep them warm and dry, how camp fires give campers light and warmth, and about what campers might pack in a backpack on a camping trip! We made roads to the campground with blocks, and enjoyed free play in our space as well! We sung a simple song about making a campfire in addition to talking about campfire safety!

In early childhood, play is the vehicle for learning which is why we place diverse play activities at eye level for the children! Children learn how to take care of the loose parts, how to clean up their activities, how to share activities and how to play with a partner. They also learn how to communicate to problem solve and to reach their desired result or outcome! We love play at Arrows In the Hand Learning LLC.

Our outdoor space at Arrows In the Hand Early Learning LLC. provides a wealth of opportunities to explore and create! With activities ranging from making mud pies, to building sand castles, potting soil and tending to an artificial garden, constructing flowers, and making water falls at the water table, or anything else our students’ imagination dreams up, our diverse play equipment encourages imaginative play. These experiences not only foster creativity but also promote independence and build confidence in our learners.

Children at Arrows in the Hand Early Learning LLC engage in play that actively stimulates their neural connections! Through participation in new and repeated cognitive activities, alongside sensory and physical experiences, their brains develop and learning flourishes. During play, children enhance their language skills by describing textures, colors, and sizes, using vocabulary from books and the weekly themes. They also practice collaborative language for problem-solving, such as asking questions. Play serves as the primary mode of learning in our program! 🚗

We also help to build on what students already know about holiday concepts by reading about topics, engaging in art, and engaging in play around vocabulary!
