Today the 9th had a breakout session with Fitchburg Police SRO Pennetti. They were able to learn about the school resource officer role here in Fitchburg. Thank you to the Fitchburg Police Department for making this possible for our class!

Yesterday the 9th did a financial wellness workshop with Workers Credit Union Community and Business Development Manager, Calla Flannery. We are happy to have partners in the community to prepare our students for all aspects of life.

Today marks 10 years since the devastating loss of Vanessa Marcotte. Vanessa's life was taken in a random act of violence when she was just 27 years old. We are thinking of her family and friends. The Norfolk County Sheriff's Office is thankful for the Vanessa T. Marcotte Foundation for its continued advocacy and for celebrating Vanessa's life by empowering others with personal safety and violence prevention skills.
