One of the latest milestones in the Fitchburg Public Library renovation is the installation of the building's exterior weather barrier. It’s an important step to protect the structure while moving us closer to the next phase of construction.
With each new layer, the vision for the future library becomes more visible and every week brings exciting progress as we continue working to Offer a World of Learning to all.

The Legacy of Learning community giving program gives donors a spotlight in the new library: their name displayed on a book spine in our READ bookshelf display, a custom shelf designed by the students at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School and prominently featured in the lobby of the new building.
