Welcome new and former members to the new year and a new leadership group! WMHS-FBLA has a new BOSS in town and she's bringing her zeal and a lot of spark!!

Plan to be busy, active and engaged this year!!! We hope you learned a lot today from our chapter information meeting today.

It was a lot of information to take in ... so be looking for those follow up contacts by officers and adviser emails and messages.

FYI- We are already putting things in order on our competition packet and anticipate those being ready soon.

Don't be strangers to room 43!! Stop down to Mr. Waite's room to sign up for the Front Royal Conference, take care of any outstanding dues or just check in to keep informed.

FRIDAY 8/25 SIGN UP and PAY DUES
During return block you will have the chance to sign up & pay club dues. Doing so will earn points toward prizes and priority treatment for this year's coming activities, events, and prize drawings.

Otherwise, you have until Sept 8 to submit membership forms and dues.

FBLA is the premier organization for students preparing for careers in business and the largest student business organization in the world. Members and chapters have the opportunity to compete and win awards on the local, state, and national levels. You can choose from over 50 competitive and skills events from the areas of: technology, public speaking, business, finance, and management. It's not who you know, it's who knows you! By becoming an active member of FBLA, you will not only have fun but make connections to the business world and form networks that will last a lifetime!

The Wilson Memorial High School Chapter needs students who:
1) desire to become leaders,
2) want to make a difference in their school and community,
3) are willing to fundraise,
4) want to have fun and
5) have a can do attitude.

As long as you are enrolled in a business class this year or tried to schedule a CTE course, why not join WMHS-FBLA and ride the wave to a new chapter in your life!
