We are incredibly proud to celebrate the Mary Baldwin University PA Class of 2026 and their outstanding achievement of a **100% PANCE pass rate!**

These 38 exceptional individuals are now entering the healthcare workforce across the country, serving patients in a wide variety of medical specialties and carrying the MBU legacy of excellence, compassion, leadership, and service with them.

Their success is a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and dedication to the PA profession, as well as the commitment of the faculty, staff, and clinical preceptors who supported them along the way.

From MBU classrooms and clinical rotations to communities across the nation, their impact is just beginning!

Congratulations, Class of 2026! We couldn't be prouder of all you've accomplished and can't wait to see the difference you'll make in the lives of your patients and communities! 🩺

Students from the Class of ‘28 and Dr. Freeborne recently partnered with Valley Program for Aging Services to complete fall risk assessments for community members age 60 and older. This hands-on experience gave students the opportunity to put their skills into practice while supporting safety, wellness, and healthy aging in our community.

We’re grateful to Valley Program for Aging Services for this meaningful partnership and proud of our students for their commitment to serving others! 🩺🤝

💛🖤Community, service, and health in action!

Our student volunteers from the Class of ‘28 were proud to support the flu vaccine clinic sponsored by Augusta Health (augustahealth) at the Staunton African American Multicultural Fair. Their time, energy, and commitment helped make this important community health event a success.

Interprofessionalism isn’t always built in the classroom. Sometimes, it happens over lunch… and a *very* competitive game of ping pong. 🏓😄

PA, PT, and OT students and faculty took some time to connect, recharge, and enjoy a little friendly competition together at MDCHS today!

Building relationships across disciplines is an important part of learning to work as a healthcare team — and we’re pretty sure bragging rights count as team building, too. 😉

🩺Learning Beyond the Classroom🩺

Check out two students from the Class of ‘28 who visited Birch Gardens of Staunton Virginia for an early clinical experience.

Students had the opportunity to spend meaningful one-on-one time with residents while practicing history-taking and communication skills and learning firsthand how to connect with and care for older adults.

Experiences like these are about so much more than developing clinical skills. They are about listening to stories, building trust, understanding the unique needs of geriatric patients, and recognizing that sometimes simply spending time with someone can be an important part of caring for them.

We are grateful to the residents and staff at Birch Gardens for welcoming our students and helping shape the next generation of compassionate PA providers.
