March is Disability Awareness Month, Presented by Old National Bank, and we are celebrating all month long with events that highlight inclusion, accessibility, and community! 💙♿

From our Kick-Off and Accessibility & Inclusion Awards to inclusive sporting events, art experiences, family activities, and educational workshops, there are meaningful ways for residents of all ages and abilities to get involved.

Hamilton County Disability Resource Fair — Pure Abilities Join Pure Abilities Recreational Therapists, Music Therapists, Behavior Consultants, PAC and DSP providers for the Hamilton County Disability Resource Fair on Wednesday, March 4th from 5:30-7:30pm.

Liz Homes, an attorney at Law Offices of Elizabeth Homes LLC, will be giving a short presentation and answering questions to help parents better understand what guardianship is, what options there are, whom it is appropriate for, and the steps to take to obtain it.

Elizabeth A. Homes has practiced law in Carmel, Indiana since May of 2014. Her practice at the Law Office of Elizabeth A. Homes LLC is focused on Special Needs Planning, Guardianships, Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Probate Work. This includes Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Directives, Trusts, Trust Administration, Medicaid Planning, Special Needs Planning, Guardianship, and Probate.

What is the Family Support Waiver?
How can it help my family?

Karly Sciortino-Poulter, Director of the Arc Advocacy Network, will be giving a short presentation about the Family Support Waiver. Her presentation will help families better understand what The Family Support Waiver is, how it has changed over the years, what services there are, whom it is appropriate for, and the steps to take to obtain it.

This event will take place Wednesday, January 21st, at 6:30 pm in room J132 at Hamilton Southeastern High School. The best door to enter is door 21 just south of the main entrance. J132 is past the second door on the right.
