Our latest IREAD results are in, and they are outstanding! ๐Ÿ“š

This year, 97.3% of HSE third graders passed IREAD, an increase from 96% last year and the districtโ€™s highest passing rate in six years.

Three elementary schools achieved a 100% pass rate, 11 of 13 met or exceeded Indianaโ€™s 95% literacy goal and every elementary school recorded a rate of at least 90%.

๐Ÿš— Car Rider Families: Please Review!

To help keep arrival and dismissal safe, smooth, and efficient, please take a few minutes to review the Lantern Road Elementary School Car Rider Procedures before the first day of school. Mr. Sponsel also sent out the same information via ParentSquare.

A few important reminders:

โ€ข Enter from Lantern Road and follow the full traffic pattern around the building
โ€ข Stay in your assigned lane until directed forward by staff
โ€ข Pull all the way up to the first available cone
โ€ข Students should exit curbside and walk directly into the building
โ€ข Parents should remain in their vehicles
โ€ข During dismissal, display your car rider tag clearly in the windshield

Morning arrival and afternoon pickup use the same U-turn and two-lane traffic pattern. Following staff directions and pulling fully forward helps keep the line moving safely for everyone.
