Happy Birthday to our amazing PTO Vice President, Mindee Upton! 🎂🎉 Mindee pours so much heart, creativity, time, and energy into our PTO, our events, and our school community, and there truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are for all that she does behind the scenes to help make Geist such a special place. We are so lucky to have her. 💖✨

Here’s what Mindee had to share about her PTO journey:

"As a kindergarten parent, I loved being a room parent for my son’s class and getting to know his teacher, classmates, and other staff around the school. I also loved volunteering at all the events and seeing firsthand how great our Geist Gator families are. I joined the PTO last year because I wanted to contribute my time and ideas to make a positive impact on school events and programs. Being a part of the PTO gives me a chance to build connections with some awesome people and help contribute to my son’s education and school experience."

Mindee, thank you for the countless ways you show up for our school and for the joy, passion, and positivity you bring to our PTO family. We hope your birthday is filled with so much love, laughter, and celebration — you deserve it all! 🥳💫💗

It was a beautiful, bittersweet, and FUN celebration as we cheered on these amazing students during their final walk as Gators. We are so proud of this group and can’t wait to watch them continue to thrive as they head off to their next schools.

What a fun day celebrating our Gators at Field Day as we wrap up the final week of school! 💚

Huge thank you to our GES Staff and volunteers who worked so hard to make today and yesterday’s Kona Ice treats the most fun for our students and families.

And just like that… tomorrow is the last day of school. Wishing all of our Gator families the very best last day and an amazing summer ahead! ❤️

The creativity, excitement, and pride these students have for their cars is just the best. You can tell so much time and heart went into creating them with their families. And a big thank you to our Kindergarten teachers for bringing this special tradition to life — their pace lap was definitely a fan favorite 😂

🏎 Thank you to Ray Skillman Chevrolet for supporting our PTO and going above and beyond by bringing an incredible pace car to the event! The rain kept us from some pretty great photo ops (Gator-Ade was a trooper getting out there in the downpour), but the fun continued regardless. ☔

We love this Geist tradition...already looking forward to next year, sharing a video to our stories, so you can see more of the fun creations! 🐊

We got a little carried away having fun at International Fair with our families that our PTO team completely forgot to take photos of the event as a whole 😅🌍✨
