Welcome to our newest Coach, Coach MacKenzie Looze!

Prior to entering the professional world, I competed for five years at my Division I alma mater, Indiana University, where I became a five‑time NCAA All‑American and the 2022 Phillips 66 National Champion in the 200m breaststroke. That swim ranked me fifth in the nation and earned me a spot on the USA National Team for 2022–2023. During my IU career, I earned All‑Big Ten honors, set school records, reached numerous Big Ten finals, advanced to the 2021 U.S. Olympic Trials semifinals, and represented Team USA at the 2022 Duel in the Pool against Australia.

Before IU, I was a multi‑time Indiana state medalist and school record‑holder at Bloomington South. I’ve maintained my coaching certification and have coached with Indiana Swim Club as well as taught private and group lessons. I also have unique experience working in adaptive swimming while completing my Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. I currently work at Riley Children’s Hospital working as a full time CCC-SLP.

I’m excited to join Joe Keller and his staff as a part‑time coach and look forward to supporting the development of Indiana’s next generation of swimmers.

Welcome to our newest Coach, Coach Kyle Whitaker who will begin SOON as our NEW FAST Business Manager and Tiger Stripes Coach as well as joining our staff to coach with the National/Elite Senior Groups, including HS.
Coach Kyle is an Indiana Swimming Hall-of-Fame inductee. Coach Kyle swam for the University of Michigan and graduated in 2015 with his Bachelor’s Degree in US History. He swam at the World University Games and was the Team Captain for TEAM USA. In 2018, Coach Kyle graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Master of Science Degree in Historical Preservation. Post COVID, aside from coaching, Coach Kyle has been an Athletic Director and Secondary Level Educator teaching US Government, Economics and US History. Coach Kyle will be a Full-Time Staff Member for FAST. Coach Kyle’s wife will be teaching at HSE Schools and we hope to see his young family and daughter swimming with FAST this fall. TIGER UP!

Congrats to our 800 Free Relay of Emily Wolf, Ashlyn Hayes, Audrey Wolf, and Abi Paton for their 3rd place finish at Speedo Summer Jrs. This relay also set a new FAST Tigers club record!
