We have a 2 acre playground, healthy meals and snacks, lots of fun while learning so many interesting things about Gods big world and our part in it. Kings Kids is a home based Christian Daycare located in Fisher, Illinois. We have an extensive Pre-school curriculum that is Christian based. The curriculum we use is from Mothergoosetime. (Experian Learning, the only accredited home based curriculum
on the market) Children are taught the basic shapes, colors, letters with phonics, numbers as well as number concepts, and three "units" monthly. There is a corresponding Bible unit with every unit taught. For example, if we do a unit on weather the corresponding Bible unit is Noah's Ark. Children as young as 18 months join in pre-school. Children that are under 18 months have a separate play area with a variety of toys and activities to play with. There is always someone with the infants. As part of our Pre-school program we take field-trips several times a year. We go to Curtis Apple Orchard, the Christmas tree exhibit, Hardy's Reindeer Ranch and sometimes parks with playgrounds. All the children go on the field-trips even the babies. We have been in business since 1992 and are licensed by the state of Illinois. We are currently undergoing the Accreditation process During nap-time for the little ones older children have a wide variety of activities to choose from. We have clay, play-do, paint, coloring, a "store" to shop in, a "home" center, doll houses, trucks, legos, swimming, the new play system, shaving cream wars, water wars etc. Since we have a minimum of two people here there is always someone to stay in with the nappers or go out with the non-nappers. We frequently have three adults present so the children that want to swim can and the children who want to play elsewhere or do crafts can do that instead. We have a large list of references. We also have an open-door policy, meaning that parents or prospective clients can come in unannounced at any time other than naptime We ask for a text at that time so we can put the dogs away at this time We offer Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as snacks . A few times a year we do "sleep overs" with the girls one night and the boys a different night. Any child three years and older is welcome to attend. We go to the movies, bowling or putt putt golf. The children vote on what they want to do. Parents usually help with transportation and supervision during the sleepovers. When we get back we have smores and movies.
