It has been a BUSY summer and many things have changed. I wanted to put this out there before rumors spread, we will be closing the shop by the end of the year. We have thought about this long and hard and have just come to the conclusion that this is the best solution. Many of you may be wondering why. It is not due to any catastrophe or crisis. We just want to give our best and at this point in life, that is not possible.

SO what does this mean? It means that I will be working through our inventory in the next few weeks and will be posting dates that the shop will be open for liquidation. Please stay tuned for more to come and in the meantime, THANK YOU for all the love and support you have shown us over the last year! Our local beekeeping community is truly some of the BEST people!

Patron Saint Of Beekeepers – Celebrated February 11th
Saint Abigail was a medieval Irish saint born around the 6th century in Ireland. According to Celtic folklore, when the soul departs from the body it takes the form of a bee or butterfly. So, it is not surprising that Abigail also became a beekeeper. It is said that she developed a powerful relationship with the bees and would use their honey to treat illnesses and heal wounds. She became known for her miracles in rousting bees from their hives and using them to chase off evil. Like Saint Abi, may your bees bring you health, happiness, and peace!
