The Finland Wild Rice House regrets to announce that we will not be processing rice this season due to circumstances beyond our control. We are deeply sorry for the significant inconvenience this will cause our customers and community members. The processing facility and equipment will no longer be housed in its previous location. We hope to have everything up and running again in a new spot for the 2025 season.
To help mitigate the impact on harvesters, we plan to provide as many resources as possible in the coming weeks. We will post a list of area processors and, hopefully, provide a platform where people can connect to combine rice and meet shop minimums. Currently, our list is very short, and we seek community input to help with networking. If you know of any processors to add to our list or have a small operation willing to take in a few more people, please email [email protected].
