What a great 1st day of kindergarten! We had a blast practicing the playground and learning about play tubs. We even did some coloring! Be sure to send your child’s folder tomorrow-some friends didn’t have one to put their coloring page in when we went home. Also…double check names are on water bottles and lunch boxes. A quick reminder as we head into tomorrow’s Kindergarten Parent Orientation!

📚 Tomorrow is for parents only. This is an informational meeting for grown-ups, so please plan for your kindergarten student to stay home. Their first day of kindergarten is Tuesday, August 25! We cannot wait to see them then!

🎒 Please bring your child’s school supplies with you to your scheduled parent meeting.

💙 Not sure who your child’s kindergarten teacher is or meeting time? Your child’s teacher has called, reached out through Final Forms and sent a message through ParentSquare. If you are still unsure, please check those locations for your child’s teacher information.

We are getting SO close to the first day and we cannot wait to welcome our newest kindergarteners! It is going to be a great year! 💙💛

Last day of school was full of tender moments. ❤️

I pranked them with a “gift”…and it turned out to be silly string. I got them GOOD. 😂 (Video in the comments!)

We chalked the sidewalks and made the front of the school beautiful for the 2nd grade clap out, celebrated a friend’s birthday with cupcakes, and also had popsicles to cool off while soaking up every last second together.

The biggest surprise of the day was when Miss Thomas came back to spend the day with us. The kids were SO excited to see her!

There were lots of tears during our goodbyes today. Mrs. Keifer had the kids sit in a circle and share something they loved about me, and wow…my heart was overflowing right along with my eyes. 🥹

I adore your children more than words can say. They have been such a special part of my life this year.

I promised them we’d have some fun park get-togethers this summer, and I’d also love to be their pen pal! If your child would like to write letters this summer and get mail back from me, send me a message on Remind and I’ll share my address.
