Ms. Donna's Adaptive Learning Center MDALC is a specialized micro-school for students with disabilities and IEPs. Ms. All IEP's come from the local district of residence.

We prioritize safety, regulation, life skills, and real growth over appearances, testing, or one-size-fits-all education. Donna's Adaptive Learning Center is an educational center where your child can get an alternative education along with intervention services based on their IEP. We provide services to children with special needs ranging from ADHD, Behavioral Issues, to Autism. We provide services under the Autism and Jon Petersen Special Needs Scholarships. All students that come to us are treated as equals and met "where they are at" regarless of age, grade, or social abilities.

We’re all set up and ready for some fall fun at the Legacy Building at the Findlay Fairgrounds for ADDAPT Co.’s Fall Fest! 🧡

🎃👻 SPIRIT WEEK AT MDALC! 🖤🧡

Well, that was a week. 😂👏

We had students dressing like teachers (some of those impressions were a little TOO accurate 👀), spooky outfits, matching twins, and an entire school full of people who were thrilled to wear pajamas in public. 🤣

From Dress Like a Teacher Day to Spooky Day, Twin Day, and PJ Day, our kiddos understood the assignment!

Some outfits were adorable, some were hilarious, and some had us questioning how our students actually see us. 😂

We love watching our students and staff get creative, have fun, and make memories together. These are the moments that make MDALC what it is! 💚

❤️🧡💛💚💙 HEY, FAMILIES! WE’RE GROWING OUR WAITLIST! 💜

At MDALC, we do school a little differently. And that’s kind of the whole point. 😉

We believe kids deserve more than just a seat in a classroom. They deserve to feel safe, understood, supported, and genuinely excited to learn.

We don’t expect every child to learn the same way, at the same pace, or even in the same environment. We meet kids where they are, build relationships first, and focus on growth that actually matters.

We’re currently adding students to our K–12 waitlist! 🎉

We welcome inquiries from families of students with an IEP or autism diagnosis and accept both the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship and Autism Scholarship.

Because we’re a small school, we’re intentional about making sure we have the right environment, resources, and support to meet each child’s individual needs.

We’re not the right fit for every child, and that’s okay. What matters is finding the place where YOUR child can thrive. ❤️

🍂🎃 WE HAVE OFFICIALLY MADE IT TO FALL BREAK! 🎃🍂

Against all odds, we survived the first stretch of the school year. The pencils are missing, the snacks are gone, we’ve said “please stop” approximately 87,000 times, and our patience is currently running on fumes. 😂

We’ve loved them, taught them, fed them, redirected them, and answered questions that truly made us question our own education.

And now, MDALC families, it is with great pleasure that we announce…

That’s right! For one glorious week, you get to enjoy all the energy, the endless questions, the snack requests, the sibling arguments, and the beautiful little personalities we’ve been enjoying since August. 🥰😂

NO SCHOOL: October 12th–15th! 🍁

📚 Monday, October 19th: Teacher In-Service Day. We’re back. The kids aren’t. 😎

🎉 Tuesday, October 20th: Students return! We’ll be rested, recharged, and ready to pretend we didn’t miss them the entire time.

Enjoy your fall break, MDALC families! We love your kids dearly, but sharing is caring, and it’s officially your turn. 🧡🖤😂
