We are excited to share that Carly Desphy has received the Fred Sammons & Barb Rider Named Scholarship through National AMBUCS! This scholarship is awarded to graduate students in occupational therapy (PT and SLP, as well) who demonstrate financial need, a commitment of service to their community, strong character, and clear goals for their future career.
Carly is a second year MOT student who's path to occupational therapy grew out of personal experience of caring for those around her and service to the community. Congratulations, Carly!

Are you ready to apply for a 2027 OT start? Join us for our annual event. This virtual session is designed for those who are finishing or have completed their bachelor's degree. New MOT students start in January 2027. New OTD students begin in May 2027.

PLEASE NOTE: Students who have already been accepted to the MOT or OTD programs,are participating in an Early Assurance pathway, or have secured a seat in an accelerated track do not need to attend, as program-specific information will be provided through separate communications and events.

We are so proud of each and everyone of you and wish you the best of luck as you enter your first year as an entry-level practitioner.

It is officially official! The time has come to finally name our newest UF OT program member… 🥁🥁 everyone meet LIGGY! Liggy has become a frequent visitor at the offices this summer, so it only felt right to make him our official OT mascot! Stay tuned for more Liggy updates in the future!
