Thinking about taking the PSAT/NMSQT this fall? Here’s what you need to know!

📅 Test Date: Tuesday, October 27, 2026
📍 Location: Findlay High School
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM
💰 Cost: $25

⭐ IMPORTANT: Registration is a TWO-STEP process!
1️⃣ Complete the registration form FIRST.
2️⃣ Then submit your $25 payment.

Registration is NOT complete until BOTH steps are completed.

📝 Registration Deadline
Friday, October 2, 2026 at 3:00 PM

💵 Make checks payable to Findlay City Schools for $25 and turn payment in to Mrs. Getui in the main office.

🎟️ Seats are guaranteed for the first 75 students!

Why Take the PSAT/NMSQT?
The PSAT/NMSQT measures the skills and knowledge that are important for success in high school and college.

Juniors: Students must take the test during their 3rd year of high school (typically 11th grade) to be eligible for the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Sophomores: Taking the PSAT/NMSQT in 10th grade provides valuable feedback while there is still time to plan and prepare.

💻 The PSAT/NMSQT is DIGITAL!
Students must bring their Chromebook AND charger on test day.

📖 Reading and Writing: 64 minutes | 54 questions
➗ Math: 70 minutes | 44 questions

✔️ Prepare for tests and quizzes

Here is the information for the PUBLIC PERFORMANCES of COME FROM AWAY.
The Thursday, 9/10 performance is ONLY for First Responders and their Families.
Public Performances are Friday, 9/11 & Saturday, 9/12 at 7:00 PM and Sunday, 9/13 at 2:00 PM.

We are proud to announce we are having a FREE performance for First Responders and their families of Come From Away on September 10 at 7:00 PM in R. L. Heminger Auditorium.
This performance is presented through the generous support of the Findlay/Hancock County Community Foundation's Judge Allan H. Davis fund.

We are proud to announce the 2026 FHS/Millstream Teacher of the Year, Todd Richards!

Mr. Richards constantly goes above and beyond for all students. He forms relationships with students that make them feel important and valued, even if they aren’t in his class.

According to the nominations submitted on his behalf, he often chooses to make an impact on students during time that could be his own. He gives up his lunch to have dance parties with the students in the SLC classrooms, and goes out of his way to invite students with special needs to the gym to play basketball during his planning period.

He is constantly showing students what it means to feel like they belong.

We are so proud to call you ours, Mr. Richards! 🎉💙💛

FTMB/UF marching band preview show:

Wednesday August 12 7pm. Donnell stadium FREE admission.

Both bands will showcase what they have accomplished at band camp. Our first halftime show is called "and the music lives on" featuring music by Elvis, the Beatles and various Motown hits!

Our students have worked very hard and it would be amazing to pack the stadium for them.

Travelin' Tom's Coffee is coming to FHS on Thursday, August 13 from 7:30-9 AM in the student parking lot. A portion of the proceeds will come back to the FHS principal's account.
